GES.A.P. S.p.A., the company managing the “Falcone e Borsellino” Airport, in Palermo, had been very clear: the Vip Lounges included in the tender needed to be designed, built, and managed in such a way as to give it a Premium character with high-quality services, making passengers’ stays absolutely exclusive, with all kind of comfort.

The tender included the assignment of a Land Side space for the restyling of a smaller, temporary VIP Lounge that would accommodate passengers while awaiting the completion of works in the other space subject to the tender, namely the creation of a larger, more ambitious, and more exclusive VIP Lounge situated in Air Side.

C90 provided technical and economic support for the participation in the tender by the Aviapartner Handling S.p.A. group, determined to bring its Prima Vista brand to the small but beautiful and cosmopolitan Sicilian airport. The winning strategy was to conceive a restyling of the temporary lounge with a functional and effective space division, to offer exclusive services and every type of comfort despite its temporary nature and limited surface area. The company also presented an ambitious project for the second VIP Lounge located in the Air Side, meticulously detailing every technical and design aspect, with a concept strongly influenced by the wonderful multicultural tradition of the Palermo city, combined with the distinctive Prima Vista style, developing mechanical, electrical, and special systems that were water and energy-efficient, with meticulous attention to PRM accessibility, fire prevention and protection measures, and passengers well-being.
